Lottery for driver education classes now open!

Register now for the Gates Chili Driver Education Lottery for our Summer 2025 program! 

To participate, students must be: 

  • currently enrolled in high school

  • at least 16 years of age 

  • hold a valid NYS permit

The program runs from January to May and is a comprehensive learn-to-drive program for students. There are a limited number of spots available, so registration is done by lottery using students’ date of birth.

To enter the lottery, please fill out the form at gateschili.org/DriverEdLottery by Thursday, May 15.
